Dr. Holly WhiteKnight, ND
Dr. Holly WhiteKnight is a Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in women’s health, perinatal and pediatric health, and environmental health. Holly also enjoys sports medicine, as she was a previous high-level competitive athlete.
“I like to think of my role as an instrument on other people’s journey towards health. Spending time and really getting to know each patient allows me to understand how I can best serve their individual needs. I’m passionate about taking things back to the basics. Nourishing foods, plants as medicine, and gentle alterations in people’s lifestyle can make all the difference in symptoms and conditions. My goal is to remind each patient what it feels like to truly be healthy.”
Dr. WhiteKnight has a passion for writing, homesteading and engaging in the community. She is on the committee for Kingston Writersfest and hopes one day to have some of her own written material out in the world. She contributes regularly to professional journals and has been featured in a number of health magazines. Dr. WhiteKnight is passionate about motherhood and has served as the coordinator of Mother Circle Kingston for several years while working towards becoming a lactation consultant. She enjoys teaching her children about how to live a sustainable life and the joys of gardening. Before children, she was dedicated to her semi-professional cycling career.
Dr. WhiteKnight is a graduate of the University of Guelph and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Medicine, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors.
