Red Light Therapy Consultations
We’re thrilled with the results you’re experiencing with our rental program, but see that you could be getting more out of your red and near-infrared light therapy device (aka photobiomodulation device).
Sometimes this means applying the therapy pads to different locations, for a different purpose, at different times of day, or only when followed by other techniques.
This 25-minute goal-oriented consult with Dr. Sonya Nobbe is designed for current KIHC patients wishing to receive specific instructions about using light therapy devices for their particular health concerns.
Discussion might include using red and near-infrared light therapy for:
- Supporting detoxification pathways and the lymphatic system
- Microcirculation and vascular health
- Pain management, including for osteoarthritis, old injuries, fracture, frozen shoulder, and nerve pain
- Preventive measures for cardiovascular health, cognitive function, and osteoporosis
Discussion about the red light therapy device itself might include:
- Dos and Don’ts of home-use light therapy devices
- Red light versus near-infrared light wavelengths
- Device frequency settings
Pre-requisites for this appointment include:
- Up-to-date intake forms and consent forms with your KIHC practitioner (i.e. within 2 years)
- A recent appointment with your KIHC practitioner about these particular health concerns (within 6 months)
- Your permission for your KIHC practitioner to share detailed health information with Dr. Sonya
Having a device at this appointment is helpful but not necessary.
This consult is not required to rent one of our devices.
