Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Naghmeh Mirhosseini is a Naturopathic Doctor and an experienced primary healthcare provider, with seven years of experience as a Medical Doctor in her home country of Iran. She is also a research scientist, with more than 50 scientific articles published in the field of chronic disease management and clinical nutrition.

“I have the privilege of blending my knowledge and experience of conventional medical treatments and medication side-effects, with naturopathic approaches. As a practitioner, I strive to build enduring patient-doctor relationships, to educate patients with evidence-based medical knowledge, to provide counselling on diet and lifestyle changes, while addressing the underlying causes of health concerns. It would be my honour to support you on your health journey.”

Dr. Naghmeh’s clinical focus includes integrative cancer care, which includes women’s health check-ups, gynecological examinations, and breast health, for cancer prevention and education. She also offers supportive care for patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments for cancer, and palliative care.

Patients also seek support from Dr. Naghmeh for her experience with endocrine (hormone) health concerns, such as diabetes, thyroid disorders and nodules, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Dr. Naghmeh enjoys interacting with people, public speaking, and organizing social events. She is a proud member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She is regulated by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and has met the additional Standard of Practice for Prescribing, and Intravenous Infusion Therapy (IVIT). Dr. Naghmeh is fluent in both English and Persian (Farsi).
