The Chronic Lyme Disease Program at KIHC is managed by Dr. Sonya Nobbe, ND.
1. You have chronic symptoms despite previous treatment for Lyme disease.
2. You have chronic symptoms despite negative test results and believe you might still have Lyme disease.
3. You’ve struggled with complex chronic symptoms for months and would like more support with investigating underlying causes.
4. You’d like a second opinion about whether Lyme Disease could be a contributing factor to your chronic illness.
1. I consider “Chronic Lyme Disease” to encompass layers of complex chronic illness that may or may not require treatment for bacterial infection.
2. The more chronic and complex your symptoms, the more time and dedication this process takes. Healing takes time! There is no “magic bullet”.
3. Not everyone is susceptible to chronic symptoms following Lyme disease. It’s important to explore your health history before you became ill. Addressing your risk factors can be an important part of recovery.
1. I integrate knowledge from a variety of sources, including current research, comprehensive testing, Traditional Chinese Medicine and other natural approaches.
2. I use a variety of interventions, including botanicals, nutraceuticals, hormones, nutrition, and lifestyle.
3. Sometimes it takes a team of professionals to help the body heal. I rely on many other health professionals to support my patients in their recovery, including medical doctors, acupuncturists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, osteopathic manual practitioners, and massage therapists.
