Kingston Integrated Healthcare

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a holistic science dating back thousands of years. It recognizes that what happens in nature is reflected in our body and mind. By aligning with nature’s rhythms (“circadian medicine”), and by applying Ayurveda’s Three Pillars of Health (nourishment, sleep, and energy management or routine), we promote healing and prevent disease.

Ayurvedic approaches are ideal for clients who:

  • Wish to age gracefully and transition between life stages smoothly (Ayurveda is known as the “science of longevity”);
  • Are interested in incorporating nature and the natural into their healing and daily lives;
  • Understand that the human body has many layers including the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual;
  • Are looking for a complementary approach for healing.

Ayurveda consultations are offered online by Mona Warner. These are goal-oriented conversations that explore how Ayurvedic medicine best supports your healing and wellbeing. Therapeutic recommendations are highly individualized and might include changes to diet, lifestyle, daily routine, self-care, supplementation, movement, breathwork, and meditation.

Mona is one of our Advisory team members and does not practice on-site at KIHC. Please visit Mona’s website for more information.
