Babies and Energetic Touch

Babies appreciate contact to a great degree. From time of conception, they exist in a comforting world of contact. They are both stimulated and soothed by their growing sense of touch and by their other senses as well. From my experience with babies in utero, they respond wonderfully to energy work through enhanced energetic touch. This continues after they are born too.
It can be sensory overload for a newborn or young infant in our busy, stimulating, steady-paced world. This presents an environment of a lot of input for them. Resting helps restore their sensory calm and soothing, but infants may need this calming and soothing even before a rest happens.
They may need quiet contact away from what they can see, hear, feel, smell even taste, much sooner than us. Their senses are far more focused and attuned than ours as adults are with our attention on any number of things and not as much on our senses.
Energy work is very calming and soothing. It works well for baby And for Mom. It can likewise restore a bit of the high contact level of connection baby first got used to inside Mom.
For Mom, it can relax frayed nerves and jagged hormones in transition from pregnancy, delivery and post-partum. It can help to restore balance that Mom’s body needs to adjust.
A further benefit from my work is having the opportunity to do an energy audit to assess what is needed. This helps to support the new state of bonding between Mom and babe or Dad and babe. A view of family energy dynamics can help set the stage for this important foundation, and create further connections to support many future years of growth together.
If you are new to this type of work, a quick conversation may answer some questions and provide more clarity on its many benefits. Call the clinic or email me for more options.
