Dr. Marianne is moving!

Sadly, we are saying goodbye to Dr. Marianne this month from our KIHC team.

Recently she has been offered the opportunity to develop a writing mentorship program in conjunction with the Canadian ND Association (CAND) for early career NDs, and an increased management role with the CAND Vital Link journal. As a result, she has made the decision to transition her private practice to a primarily telehealth office in the Sanctuary Co-working space in downtown Kingston. Her last day at KIHC was July 31, 2020.

She wanted to let everyone know that she has greatly enjoyed her time at Kingston Integrated Healthcare and has appreciated being part of a coordinated team all working together to help provide great patient care. She wishes everyone at KIHC well as the clinic moves forward.

Her email contact will continue to be drmarianne@ionacare.ca

For the present time, I will generally be available regularly for in person bookings Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 1:00-5:00pm, but will have morning and evening hours available for teleconsults on Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays (plus limited Saturday morning hours). Morning hours may be available for in person appointments on request, however, so please ask if you need a morning in-person appointment time.

As per Kingston and Area (KFL&A) Public Health Stage 3 Reopening Guidelines, the Sanctuary staff carry out heightened cleaning and disinfecting of all common and treatment areas for your safety and ours.

Finally, a new feature that I will be implementing at my office is direct insurance billing. I’ve used the electronic systems with Telus E-Claims and Provider connect for many years, and am excited to offer this again to patients to improve accessibility for kind of care I provide.

I want to thank everyone for their patience as we navigate this transition to the new office and telehealth platform. The Sanctuary space is unique and beautiful with a lovely landscaped area with benches that can be enjoyed before and after your appointment and free parking on Clergy and other streets close by.
