COVID-19 KIHC Updates January 2022

COVID-19 UpdatesThank you for working with us to adapt to these ever-evolving pandemic conditions! Please find some of our COVID-related curb-side pick-up and appointment changes, below:

Curb-side Pick-Up:

To help us keep internal traffic and health exposures to a minimum, please call or email ahead to have your supplements and prescriptions set-aside and paid for. Payments can be made ahead of time by e-transfer (to kihc@kihc.ca – no password required), or credit card over the phone. You must screen negative on our COVID screening questionnaires before entering our facility.

Telehealth Appointments:

Telehealth consultations are still available for Naturopathic, Nutrition, Ayurvedic, and Reiki appointments. At any time and for any reason, if you’d like to switch your in-person appointment to a telehealth appointment, just let us know! (Telehealth appointments are by telephone or video. Click here to learn more about our easy video appointments.)

In-Person Appointments:

If you have any cold or flu symptoms or exposure to someone with possible COVID-19 illness, or if you’ve traveled outside of Canada in the recent 2 weeks, please do not enter our facility. All people who enter KIHC must screen negative on the government-mandated COVID-19 screening questionnaire.

If you’ve had a positive COVID test or live with someone who’s had a positive test, please postpone your in-person appointment for a minimum of 2 weeks. This extended period is intended to protect our more vulnerable clients, but if you’re struggling, let us know! We’re here to help.

Reception support continues to be available:
Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm (closed 12 to 1pm)

For up-to-date information about COVID-19 cases in our community, please reference the KFL&A public health website.

If you have any other questions or concerns at all, please reach out! That’s what we’re here for.
